A Notice of Assessment (NOA) is an annual tax statement provided by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It includes information about an individual’s taxable income for the most recent tax year, any taxes owed, taxes paid, tax refund amount and RRSP contribution room. Lenders usually request the last two years of NOAs for Borrowers who are Self-Employed or earning commission income.
